It is a great phone for even my 11 yr old. The quality is not a problem at all. The sound levels are great. The program makes using my phone as easy as waling down the hall. I love this phone. I have not had any problems and it works great. I have purchased the software to go woth Motorola and that has made it easier to load all of my phone book.
I then purchased the same model in a different color from another AT&T authorized dealer. I thought the headset had failed, but discovered that after removing the phone battery and then restarting the phone, the functions were restored. The V3xx is not bothered with these problems. The factory sample pictures remained in the internal memory and the micro SD card memory was not effected. (I had five V3 models) 1) On the V3 phones, when I used blue tooth, the I.D. On some settings the camera displays pictures with a purplish cast compared to the old V3.
The first one may have been a fluke. Motorola has fixed a couple problems that the old V3 models had. It was almost free with two year contract extension. But of course that is a subjective issue. One strange occurrence though, once when I changed batteries, the phone lost my pictures from the phone's internal memory. So far it hasn't done it again.
The phone's music player works well, but certain bass notes are distorted and I've tried different headsets and compared the same music and same headphones on a Sansa MP3 Player and it was not distorted. Amazon promptly refunded the cost. Once when connected to a Motorola S9 Wireless Stereo headset, the right channel and right controls went dead. Changing the setting seems to improve it. (Like rebooting a computer). ringers would switch to default ringer.
The real problem was that the battery would never charge more than one bar, and then go down; I had to send it back. (I want phone service anyway and there's no discount for not taking the phone). 2) The blue tooth would shut off and the phones would hang up when the phone was within 50 feet of an operating microwave or a 2.4 gigahertz wireless device. The phone section has performed wonderfully and as you could guess, I really like the Razr styling. So far, another one-time occurrence. My first impression when I saw the phone in person was that I had never seen a more pale shade of gold.
The new one charges properly. Contrary to one other report, this phone can use a 2GB card.
he paid nada for his samsung sync. his kicks major horchata. makes you feel all pimpalicious and wanna say that you're on first name basis with the boys from miami ink. well, it's gold, for crying out loud.but that sync's got some vibe. if you like pretty but less than substantial offering, go for the razr. stuff. i have to wait until beauty and brains merge one day.
well, okay, so perhaps a few wanna-bes will want to carry it too. and lucky me, unless you live in compton and have a deft desire to either be shot to death for carrying something so pimpalicious or is one yourself, i'm probably one of the only few non-ghettolistas who will be carrying this beauty for the next two years. whatev. er. it's tight. the memory card. it matches my new highlights.this is the first that that both The Man(tm) and i do not have the exact same phone either.
but not only as an official resident but also the honorary empress in the land of poonty-crack between LA and OC, i will probably be one of the first one to carry this. you know which one i'm talkin' about if you want all that technogeeko goodness. and he got the last red one too.if you're into the pretty thing and reallllly want this phone, go for it. how effin' important is THAT. don't get the razr. mine only takes up to 1 gig - his can take up to 2.
and i must say, after all that unnecessary rambling, that it's a sweet piece of. until you see his sync, which has 2. couture. (they just received it only 2 weeks ago at our local best buy). point being. and the world currency converter. however, isn't that like that one GE advertisement. sound quality.
- yeah, well, they might carry these too in due time. mine has 1.3 megapix - whoopdee doo. i used that function in my last LG like crazy.). i've been hankering for a new cell phone (since i lost my previous one and was using one my friend gave me, which was older than Methuselah) and was willing to shell out the coins for this gorgeous gold razr. if you want supergizmo that has a tip-calculator (. probably one of those useless dolts living in the thick of orange county - you know, driving enormous SVUs (still), going to their get their nails done every thursday between matilda's ballet practice and mason's taekwondo training, getting "homemade" dinner from whole-food's prepared meal section, wearing tons of juicy couture as if it's really. it looks pretty.
and in comparison to the sync, it's definitely sleeker looking and. mine is pretty.if i can somehow merge the fabulousness of the gold razr with the inner beauty of the sync, i think it'd be a perfect phone. i paid $99 for my gold razr. The Man(tm) and i renewed our contract with pacbell/cingular/cingularatt/cingular/att just recently. (we've got the family plan thingie). so.
The 3G is definitely a faster connection than the old Edge (I use my phone as a data connect for my laptop). I like the razr overall, and decided to get another one instead of some of the other 3G options, and that was my main reason for the phone upgrade in the first place, because I like that I can slide it into my back pocket easily and it doesn't totally stand out. Not sure that I like the fact that it's slighlty larger than my old razr, but the upgrades are worth it. Although I haven't actually needed to store anything to the SD card, I like that I have that option, which my old razr did not.
It's one of the best phones I have ever owned and I would suggest it to anyone. This phone, because of being G3, gets reception anywhere. I love this phone. I've been with every phone company and Cingular is my favorite.
